Six Steps to Short Term Rental Success

The short-term rental market in regional Victoria is constantly evolving, offering owners and investors a unique opportunity to generate higher-than-average yields from their properties, with the flexibility of limited personal use throughout each year as required.

1. Visiting your property

The first step in listing with us is a site visit, so you can show us around your property. We’ll determine whether it’s suitable for short term rental and assess its potential.

2. Crunching the numbers

If your property is suitable it’s time for us to do some due diligence. We’ll report back to you with figures about potential rental income, occupancy rates and potential earnings.

3. Signing the agreement

If you’re happy to proceed, it’s time to sign on the dotted line. Typical agreements cover a 12 month period (with a 6 month minimum). We’ll also sort out things like insurance.

4. Furnishing and photography

We will furnish and style your property, to enhance its potential and to attract visitors. Professional photography will make your property appeal to a much wider audience.

5. Listing and marketing

We’ll put together the property description, list your property online, and do all of the marketing and promotion necessary to reach the target audience for your rental. 

6. Ongoing property management

Once your property is listed and guests start arriving we will take care of everything, ensuring that your property is clean, well-maintained and fully provisioned.
